On the Coronavirus bailout
It's a terrible solution — but for capitalists, the right one isn't on the table.
The Coronavirus bailout passed by the Senate is a disastrous piece of legislation, securing a few breadcrumbs — a comically inadequate one-time means-tested direct payment, a meager $600/week increase in unemployment insurance, some extremely minimal investments in hospitals, and so on — in exchange for an insane 4.5 trillion dollar handout to the rich.…
